Acousticom Corporation has evolved their ultralight helmets with a newly innovated intercom built inside two removable headsets with attachable helmets. This intercom allows Ultralight Pilots to communicate without having to connect to central intercom. The main helmet includes a removable patch cable that will connect the helmets to a standard aviation radio. Enjoy advanced wind-squelching technology that removes harsh-wind interference experienced in an open cockpit, which increases clarity between the pilots, the ground, and other flyers.
Innovated Built-in Intercom System
The intercom is uniquely designed with wind-squelching technology that electronically removes wind interference from transmitting. This technology acts similar to active noise reduction (ANR) headsets by removing specific audio frequencies from interfering. This enhances quality and clarity of the pilot's broadcast to insure safe and reliable communication.
With 20 hours of life, this intercom makes flying a breeze with a single cord connecting each helmet together. The main headset/helmet includes a patch cable that allows the pilot to connect to a portable aviation radio to communicate.
Removable Headsets inside…
Each helmet has a removable headset that can be used separately at any time. These headsets can quickly and securely insert into the helmet shells for added protection while flying light-sport aircraft.
One size fits all…
With Acousticom’s design, customers can also change the size of the helmet by adding or removing replaceable pads that get old and worn after use.
